Obchodní podmínky

1.       Arete Diamond is not an Internet shop. The prices of diamonds can be accessed after successful registration. The information submitted for registration (name, telephone and e-mail contact etc.) is treated in accordance with the current Czech laws, particularly 101/2000 concerned with the protection of personal data. The user is considered as having accepted the terms of trade on registration and the data will be stored in the company database. Upon a written request this data can be removed. Personal information held in our database is protected from misuse and will not be submitted to any third party.

2.       Prices quoted in our offers are in Czech Crowns and US dollars both with and without VAT. Prices are calculated according to the current exchange rate of ČSOB – cash – sales. Prices change on a daily basis in relation to the exchange rates and the situation on the diamond market. Payment, inclusive of VAT, can be made either Czech Crowns or US dollars.

3.       Reservation of a chosen stone on the Arete Diamond website is only an acknowledgment of a customer interest. The availability of any particular stone should be confirmed by telephoning.  Response to an on-line reservation will be the arrangement of a meeting in the company office. Information concerning the specific transaction, conditions and delivery date will be fixed at this meeting. The reservation is only finalised on receipt of a deposit on the buying price.

4.     The price quoted on the binding reservation agreement is the final price, none being added subsequently. If the client requests extra services, such as laser inscription or sealing, the customer will be informed about the price in advance.

5.      Cancelation of the binding reservation agreement and return of the deposit is only possible on the payment of a cancelation fee of 90% of the submitted deposit.

6.      On payment of the full amount, the customer will be given the diamond along with the original of its certificate.
